Q. How do I order more than one hamper to go to different addresses? A. Depending on how many hampers you want to order there are several ways of doing this: METHOD 1: Select the number of hampers/products you want (this can be any combination) and checkout as normal but when checking out select Delivery Address to be the same as the Purchasers Address. When you have checked out you will be given an order number as part of a receipt and you will also be sent within a few minutes an acknowledgement of your order with the order number. Email us at sales@webhampers.com and quote your order number and the names and addresses and which hampers from the original order are to be sent to them. METHOD 2: Save your purchaser details by ticking (no financial details are recorded) the 'Remember Me' box during checkout and place individual orders for the products you require (By using remember me you will speed up the checkout purchase as your name and address details will be filled in for you). METHOD 3: Call our sales line on 01588 638888 where we can take your order by telephone.
Q. How safe is shopping online with you? A. It couldn't be safer! Web Hampers uses WorldPay, a leading e-Commerce company and part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, to process your credit/debit card transaction securely. All communications between our customers and WorldPay are securely encrypted and can only be processed by WorldPay. When you make a payment on our web site via WorldPay Web Hampers does not have access of any kind to your card details. We have our own Secure Certificate which can be seen by double clicking on the golden padlock symbol in the secure checkout pages.
Q. How do I order a Hamper for delivery at a later date? A. During checkout please input the date delivery is required by in the Delayed Delivery box.
Q. Why do you say delivery 'by' in the delayed delivery box? A. If you have ordered using standard (free) delivery then this service takes 2-3 days depending on the carrier used. Therefore depending on carrier congestion on occasion we may despatch to ensure that delivery will be just be before the required day but with a special sticker on the postal gift carton saying 'Not to be opened until XX DATE'. This way it removes any risk no matter how small of the hamper not arriving on the required day for reasons outside our control, i.e. the courier van breaking down etc.
But I want to order now for a delayed delivery and I want it to be delivered on a specified date not by the specified date, how do I do this? A. We can do this but you will have to select the Next Day (£4) option during checkout. Provided of course that the delivery day required is not a Saturday, then the Saturday AM option would have to be selected during checkout.
Q. Which Carriers do you use? A. We have contracts with two carriers and your hamper will be delivered with either Parcelforce or APC. Both carriers require a signature on delivery for the items delivered.
Q. What is the latest time I can order for a Next Day delivery? A. 2pm is the latest time for Next (working) Day delivery. However we will endeavour to get orders despatched after this time if possible.
Q. Can I have a delivery on a Saturday? A. Yes we can offer Saturday AM delivery. Just select Saturday AM delivery (£19.95) for the required delivery service during checkout.
