Hi, We’re just writing to say thanks very much, and to congratulate you on your most excellent service. We contacted you back in June, as we saw from your web site that the Wye picnic hamper we were interested in was out of stock. The lady we spoke to on the phone was really friendly, and even went down to the warehouse to check whether any of the other hampers you stocked would take upright wine or fruit juice bottles - the answer was no, which merely confirmed our view that the Wye was the hamper for us. She volunteered to email us once the new stock of the Wye came in.
In fact, she did better than that - she called us yesterday with the good news that the new stock had arrived. We placed an order on the spot, and your sales lady (was her name Julie? We can’t remember, sorry!) even gave us the Next Day delivery option at no extra charge, since we had been waiting so long! Having ordered at lunchtime yesterday, we were amazed to have the delivery van arrive first thing this morning (at 6:30 would you believe - no problem, we were awake anyway!). The hamper is everything we expected it to be - in fact, we think you are hiding your light under a bushel to some degree, as the picture on your web site doesn’t show either the elegant twists on the cutlery, or the rather nice swirly design on the champagne flutes! You might like to consider putting a close-up image of a single place setting on there, as well as the hamper picture.
Once again, thank you very much for providing the kind of customer service that is sadly going out of fashion these days. While we are unlikely to need another picnic hamper for quite a while, we will have no hesitation in telling all our friends about you (and once they see our nice new hamper in action, they may well want to buy one too!)."
